Zolo Malbec 2007
Malbec from Argentina, South America
I paid $13.99 for a bottle (minus 10% since I bought enough that day).
Impressions -
Pretty good stuff! I'm no oenophile or anything, but I like wine - and I really found that I like the Argentinian Malbecs!
Not too oaky, good fruit flavor...
critical acclaim:
"Deep purple hue. Pretty bouquet of chocolate-covered cherry. Bright, black cherry fruit with mocha and light coffee influences. Tart, drying finish with dried berries, crisp acidity and a generous backing of oak-laced tannins. Exceptional value."
